Serving students in California since 2004, Maureen McQuaid is an expert on the college admissions process. With regular visits to colleges and universities around the United States, as well as attendance at regional and national professional conferences, Maureen is knowledgeable on current information and trends. Maureen is often requested to speak on college admissions and produces a monthly newsletter providing information on college admissions.

Maureen has a Certificate in College Admissions & Career Planning from the University of California Berkeley Extension. She also has a B.A. and J.D. from the University of San Francisco and practiced as a business attorney for over 30 years.

Maureen is a member of the Higher Educational Consultant’s Association (HECA) and the Western Association for College Admissions Counseling (WACAC).

Resolved in her belief that every student has a right to attend college, Maureen served 3 years as a college admissions volunteer advisor at a local San Francisco high school and is an advisory board member of College Dream Team, a nonprofit community project initiative. Maureen is the parent of two sons, one who was a performing artist at the University of Southern California, and the other, a recruited athlete who attended the University of California at Berkeley.
